UX/UI DESIGN

Empowering people through Design Thinking

Clients

About Me

Designer with 28 years of experience - having worked in Chile, Mexico, France, Spain, US and UK. Living in Switzerland since 2006.

As a Service Designer at the ICRC, I collaborate with a motivated team to create effective digital solutions and interactive experiences for people affected by humanitarian crises.

My role involves conducting user research to develop empathy and customer insight, which informs the creation of UX assets such as personas, empathy maps, and user journeys.

I then design and deliver the visual and interaction design of the solution, including sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and user testing.

To ensure successful launch, I develop a communication plan and digital marketing strategy. Post-launch, I analyze user behavior and provide feedback to stakeholders for future improvements.

My goal is to promote human-centered design by articulating a clear UX vision and influencing strategy through well-defined problem/opportunity statements.

Out of work

A little more about who I am outside of work

I was born in Punta Arenas, a remote city in southern Patagonia, where the vast expanse of the Andes Mountains meets the wild beauty of the Pacific Ocean. This unique upbringing sparked a curiosity in me to explore the world and understand the complexities of human experience.

For more than 30 years I have been a handball player, a sport that taught me the value of teamwork, respect for diversity and the importance of daily practice to achieve excellence. These lessons have stayed with me and I continue to apply them to my daily life and work.

As I've lived and worked in different countries, I've developed a deep appreciation for the nuances of human behavior and the power of design to improve people's lives. I'm driven by a passion to capture the moments that make us human and create solutions that meet real needs.

On these pages, you'll see glimpses of my other passions, including UX/UI design and photography. I hope you'll join me on this journey of discovery and exploration.
