Empowering people through Design Thinking

About Me

Designer with 28 years of experience - having worked in Chile, Mexico, France, Spain, US and UK. Living in Switzerland since 2006.

I currently work as a Service Designer at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), collaborating with a motivated team to create effective digital solutions and interactive experiences for people affected by humanitarian crisis.

In my role, I design and conduct face-to-face and online user research to develop empathy and customer insight. Using this data, I build and deliver the UX assets needed to develop the solution, such as personas, empathy map, user journey, scenarios, etc.

Once the UX is complete, I build the visual and interaction design of the solution, creating sketches, wireframes, workflows, prototypes, user tests and the final UI.

Before the solution is ready to go to market, I design and produce the communication plan and develop the digital marketing plan.

Once the solution is in the hands of the user, I monitor its performance and provide feedback to stakeholders based on the behaviour's analysis and data for future improvements.

My aim is to promote human-centred design by influencing strategy through the articulation of a coherent UX vision based on clear and powerful problem/opportunity statements.
